I'm Anthony, a developer from Vancouver Island.

Growing up on Vancouver Island, my childhood was spent mostly outdoors, with my love for nature and adventure rooted in my time spent in local Beaver, Cub, and Scout groups. I learned to enjoy hiking and camping, and during one of these outings, I discovered my passion for rock climbing. I competed in various competitions, even going as far as the Junior World Cup in Imst, Austria.

In high school, I began to explore my interest in computers and programming. The late 90s and early 2000s were a fascinating time for web development as it was still in its infancy. Table-based layouts were the norm, and we wrote everything in notepad, long before the days of CSS Zen Garden. It's been amazing to see the evolution of the web over the years.

After graduating high school, I attended a technical school to complete a certificate in Internet Essentials. I then continued my studies at Vancouver Island University, completing a diploma in Digital Media Technology and Wide Area Technology. During a practicum, I developed a content management system for a local company and worked there on and off for 15 years.

Currently, I am working as a programmer with the talented team at Tighten. I bring a unique perspective to my work and am always excited to take on new challenges.
